hi,
is there any publication(series) of all comics written by Carl Barks, except "Carl Barks Library of Comics and Stories in Color"?
Gerd Syllwasschy
The Carl Barks Library (not in color), of course.

@M-something: Be also aware that "Carl Barks Library of Comics and Stories in Color" usually only refers to the albums where the ten-pagers are collected that appeared originally in the magazine "Walt Disney's Comics and Stories". These ten-pagers, however, make up only about the half of the work of Carl Barks; the other half are largely long Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge adventures (that were also published within the Carl Barks Library in Color).
Besides the "Carl Barks Library" and the "Carl Barks Library in Color", "superior" work collections were published only in Danish, Finnish, German, Norse and Swedish.

Also in Dutch, there's Alle Klassieke Verhalen. And Beste Verhalen, but there the stories are just published in random order.

I think there is also a complete Barks edition in Italian, and one is on the way in Spain these days. The American ur-Library, its offsprings, and then the completely revised editions of it in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway and Sweden get their worth especially from all that bonus material and comment stuff.

In Brazil, the collection O Melhor da Disney - As Obras Completas de Carl Barks (something like: The Best Of Disney - The Complete Work Of Carl Barks) were published in 41 volumes, form 2004 to 2009.

Seems like only an English one is missing :( Isn't that Carl Barks own language? ;) :(

Another Rainbow's Carl Barks Library is in English. And it still stands up well, despite some improvements in Egmont's edition.

Indeed it does, but it WAS censored.
The best of two worlds would be Egmont's edition with Carl and Gare's lettering.
I still treasure both CBL and CBLiC as much as CBSV becaue of the lettering; in editorial terms they all contribute equally!

Yes, but it was published in the 80s and 90s and it's nearly impossible to get it in mint condition today.
I would also love to get the one from Egmont with Carl and Gare's lettering. Not so colorful colors would be good too. The Egmont one was actually done in English first and then translated into the European languages. But there was never an English edition on sale :(
