Did anyone pre-order the Epic Mickey game already? Looks really promising with a lot of sidekicks to the classic cartoons. I think, this time I can't wait for the budget version of the game and must have it on release date.

Here in Italy it's just been published a comic in limited edition called "The Clocktower Cleaners" (written by Peter David and drawn by Sciarrone) and, in December it'll be published a graphic novel compoused by 6 volumes about Oswald's history drawn by Mottura.

I'm currently playing the game (it was released on 25th in France), and even though the reviews are not all very positive, to me the game is just as good as I thought it would be :) Once you've started it, it's very difficult to put down the Wiimote! (some people are reporting camera problems; I didn't encounter any yet...so I don't really understand? Plays just fine to me.)
I truly hope the game does good sales because it deserves it, AND because it may lead to the new Ducktales game Warren Spector dreams of making!

These days I put very little stock in video game reviews. I've found plenty of games that I love that only scored in the 8 range on a website.

Warren Spector REALLY wants to do it, but for now he has been unsuccessful to convince Disney to do it. (from his own words)
So I was saying that maybe if Epic Mickey does good sales, they may reconsider that.

Doing at least a Wiiware / PSN / Xbox live arcade Ducktales game wouldn't be too much of a risk for Disney...I don't understand why they won't even try it. I mean, it's DUCKTALES, probably the biggest and most popular TV series Disney has ever made, and the NES game was and still is VERY popular among gamers.

Right now I'd settle for them releasing the final volumes of the old Disney Afternoon tv shows - including Ducktales. A video game would be gravy.
