Just wanted to invite everyone to participate on BOOM!'s dedicated Disney Comics Forum over on our site here:

While in no way are we trying to replace what you all have here at this forum, we have been waiting for the right time to dedicate a place over at the BOOM! Studios website just for Disney comics, and what better time than now - as this Fall marks the one year anniversary of BOOM! publishing the "standards" characters!

We are as excited today as the day it was announced that we get to publish these great Disney characters... and while we are switching things up, don't think you have us pegged yet! Surprises await around the next corner!

So I'll still be lurking over here, but consider the BOOM! forum the place to get ahold of us - whether that be me, the marketing guy, or the BOOM! editors that handle the Disney properties. This is mostly for you all to have your own place to talk about Disney Comics and for us to have ours.

With that, I will take a bow and hopefully see you over on our new forum.

Well, yes, but they are very open about that in the forum regulations and I don't see anything wrong with that. Constructive criticism should always be encouraged, but they're also a company selling a product. When debates get out of hands at forums, I'd certainly never ever get involved if the topic were my own products. And we're of course always allowed to write practically anything (within reason) at this forum.

They were very helpful over there. Even helped me find a comic shop in Las Vegas that carried Disney comics. No small feat.
