Hey Simone,

I said that "[Pete's] various aliases include..." and "just to name a few," clearly indicating that there were more aliases that I wasn't mentioning.

I remember "Mr. Legg" (AKA "Looey, the Leg"). I also remember "Big Duke," Pete's alias in this pretty bad 1950s story. It's just that I had to stay under a certain number of words when I wrote the WDC 654 article??so the page would still have enough room to list the contents of the issue! So I didn't have room to list all the Pete aliases I knew in English, let alone foreign names.
As it is, the last sentence of the article ("Note that we're...") isn't actually mine; I'd written a much longer version of the sentence, and Editor-In-Chief John Clark had to trim me down and rewrite it just so it would fit.

The proper English is "Romano Scarpa characters." The missing A was a simple typo, but in English we don't use the possessive ("Scarpa's") in this kind of phrase.

Simone, should I mention that you made a typo too??putting a second H in "characters" (it shouldn't be "charachters")?

Er??Sim, we can go on correcting each other on minor things all day; but aren't these too minor to worry about? (In both my case and yours!)
Of course, I'm always glad if someone catches a serious mistake I've made (especially before a comic book goes to the printer's!).

This is without a doubt the strangest and most obscure comic-book nitpicking I have ever come across.

"Attention seeking" is not unknown on forums (fora?) such as these. Usually there is a line between an "acceptable level" and trolling. Usually the offender is warned first, before being "punished" or banned. Often, the violator understands the rules clearly, and thereafter stays within the bounds of the administrations' rules.
