In Gottfredson's strip of 11-11-1965, an ol' girl asks Morty who is son of and he answers he's son of no-one, but nephew of Mickey.

Mickey's sister was created/finalized in Riverside Rovers I believe. Can't remember if her name is Felicity Fieldmouse or Amelia Fieldmouse. It's one of the two. I think Morty and Ferdie's father has been shown too. Not sure.
My memory may be rusty, but I think a prototype OOOOOOOOLLLLLLD version of her actually appeared in some of the earliest Mickey Mouse strips - where she dropped off Morty and Ferdie and wasn't really seen again after that. Maybe as an older looking woman? I dunno. It's generally accepted that whatever she is, she's Mickey's older sister.

The prototype was called Mrs. Fieldmouse and she was Mickey's neighboor and she was called, in Europe, Amelia.

When RR series was born they've decided to call her "Felicity" to not confuse her with Magica de Spell, called she too Amalia in Europe...

I have never seen MF's father, but he's cited at the end of an old strip story by Goofy...

Morty and Ferdie's mother is named Felicity? I thought it was Amelia.

Sim, it is said nowhere that Mrs. Fieldmouse is Mickey's neighbor. Gottfredson's story tells us nothing about where she lives.
Her name was not Amelia throughout Europe. It was "Amalia" (note spelling) in the Dutch reprint, but other countries used different names.
"Amelia" is simply an Anglicized version of Amalia. It has appeared in many fan-writings over the years, but has never been used anywhere on an official level.

Er??I was working at Egmont when the Riverside Rovers creative team presented their series concepts. The team was entirely unaware of "Amalia" when they chose the name Felicity, but that didn't matter??because the Dutch "Amalia" was never an official English name. "Felicity" remains the first official English name the character has ever been given.

Since the Rovers creative team didn't discuss "Amalia," they didn't discuss Magica De Spell's Italian name either. Who told you that?
(And... honestly, I don't think a character's name in one language should be influenced by another character's name in a different language. I don't think we should change Gus Goose's name in English just because Gladstone Gander's German name is Gustav Gans.)

I know that, but I think I read somewhere that she was Mickey's neighbor...

I've always thought she was called Felicity to not confuse her with Magica De Spell... Well, I was wrong...

But in which story would that have been stated?! Not in Gottfredson's story (as Ramapith has already pointed out).

In an ol' Tom Wood's GH (Good Housekeeping) page, two MF are called "The Orphans" (Orphan Benephit's citation?).
In the story "The Disappearing Kids" by Wilfred Haughton (1936), 3/4 nephews are called "Mickey Quins".
Quins = Quintuplets = Five Twins (may adopted by Mickey or may just five of those 10 in "Die, Die, Die").
Boschi often refers to them as "Mickey's 'nephews'" (as he's adopted them).
