Don't get overexcited by the title, it's nothing official. I just want to know your opinion if there have to be more collections of the old newspaper comics. I say yes. First, a ahort story.
A few days ago I wanted to open a topic about if there has to be a Taliaferro Library (which I strongly support) due to the upcoming Gottfredson one. But then I saw Talaiferro also made Silly Symphony sunday pages, and of course there are other artists who made the Donald Duck dailes. That got me thinking. We shouldn't leave them out. So I'll start a topic on the general idea of all the newspaper comics.
Back to the present. I think it should be done because most of the comics haven't been published since their first time in the papers and you all know how difficult it is to get those. Also, most of those comics are of great quality.
So, what's your opinion about the subject?

Goed idée!
I'd LOVE to have a "Mickey Mouse" and "Donald Duck" and even a "Silly Symphonies" high quality newspaper strip collection (I like the "Song of The South" (Bre'r Rabbit), José Carioca, Panchito and other Disney strips.
But, I wouldn't have a problem if they were just Gottfredson and Taliaferro books. I don't really care about the post 1975 other Donald Duck artists, but I like Dick Moores', Bill Wright's, Manny Gonzales' and Daan Jippes' Mickey, and wouldn't want to miss their work.
