"Favourite 'ouch' moment", eh? Well ... it is not particularly a sense of well-being which it produces in me, but I have my "favourite 'ouch' moment" indeed: Since I read the story the first time, it has always gripped me to the marrow when I came to the end of Barks' "Seals Are So Smart!" (FC 108) and to the scene where Donald, standing trapped on that pole in the sea, must sit down on that thing because his feet start hurting. That is pure pain what Mr. Barks shows us there, horrid!

I don't really have a favorite ouch moment, and I can't recall any ouch moment now, so I'll go for the weird Bottaro nose-slicing we saw last week.

Funny or not, my favorite non-physical pain has to be the end of Barks' 10-pager where Scrooge is allergic to money. WDC 124, if I'm correct. To quote the nephews: "He can't sleep because he owns Unca Scrooge seven hundred and eighty-eight billion, four hundred and twenty-three million, seventeen dollars and sixteen cents!" Scrooge only had the small amount of $788.423.000.017,16 at the time.
