This is about story "I CWD 18-A" which can be found at
http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=I+CWD++18-A
I remember that it was published in some comic as the frame for a number of other stories but was really an adventure in itself. However I never got to know how it concluded.
It starts with Mickey receiving a letter in which an aunt is inviting Morty and Ferdie to stay with her for a few days. While Goofy goes to fetch the boys, Mickey tells Minnie about an adventure involving the same aunt and Atomo Bleep-Bleep (see "I TL 230-AP"). After telling her the story he sets off to the aunt's farm with his nephews. During the journey their car is hijacked by Pete and his associate Al Popone who knock Mickey out and steal his car - without noticing Morty and Ferdie asleep in the back!
Mickey takes another car left behind by the crooks only to be arrested by policemen for driving a stolen car! They refuse to believe his story and he ends up in a prison cell. Frustrated and anxious about his nephews, Mickey thinks back to an earlier adventure involving Pflip and Eega Beeva ("I TL 269-BP").
However, my edition did not include the conclusion to this story "I CWD 18-A": Morty and Ferdie's fate etc. Does anyone else know how it concluded? Thanks.

Pluto allows Mickey to evade. Mickey Mouse steals a police car and guesses that Pete is going towards the frontier. He enters in a tavern owned by the Big Bad Wolf. He fights against the Wolf and Brer Fox and, with the help of the Lil' Bad Wolf, manages to escape. The Lil' Bad Wolf reveals to Mickey where Pete is hidden. Pete is hidden in the home of Brer Fox. Mickey manages to defeat them and to rescue Morty and Ferdie. A month later Pete evades and goes to Asia. After this scene the story "Topolino e i pirati del Mar Giallo" begins.
4th prologue: Mortie and Ferdie hose down Mickey and he gets angry and decides to go to India out of spite (!). But he later changes his mind because he has cold because of the splashs (!!!) and he stays home until to the reprinting of the last story of the volume, "Topolino e la droga diabolica". The title of the story was censored: in this volume the title of the story is "Topolino e la POLVERE diabolica". DROGA=DRUG, POLVERE=POWDER.
Sorry for my (bad) english, I'm italian!!!

That is so cool that it's a crossover between the Mickey Mouse and Lil Bad Wolf universes.

Perego was proven in crossover orgies ... :P

(The content of that thing is not as scary as its cover.)

Sure about that? That album contains "Topolino e la collana Chirikawa", with that horrible nightmare scene where Mickey drowns in liquid concrete! If ever there was a scary moment in a Disney comic, this is it!

Ah, the "Irokesenkette" ... one of the best Mickey stories of all. That's a different kind of scariness than Perego's cover. :D
