I once saw extracts from a Mickey Mouse daily strip which must have been published during the Floyd Gottfredson era.
It has Mickey and Goofy in Africa, maybe in the area of Sahara. In one strip they are caught in a sudden downpour of rain only to find that they have walked under a small waterfall. In another, Mickey uses a flashlight to see that Goofy has driven their car right into a palm tree. They have to gather their equipment and walk the rest of the way. To add insult to injury, it is the ONLY palm tree for miles around!
Any ideas what this adventure may be?
