What are your favorite covers featuring Huey, Dewey & Louie? Donald or Scrooge may appear on the cover, but the focus should be on the action of the nephews. The cover could be on any title (U$, DD, WDC, etc., and I know some European countries have a "Huey, Dewey & Louie" title!).
Here are my top five:
DDA 39 G HDL dressed as pirates have scuttled Donald's ship-in-a-bottle--Jippes (I don't know who did the color here, but the color is crucial, the spotlight and the shadows of the nephews; I've seen other versions of this cover that aren't as strong)
WDC 518 HDL in bureau drawers reading WDC 518 (infinity gag)--Jippes
WDC 577 HDL playing truant at fishing pool, with truant officers behind--Bob Foster, Stephan De Stefano, color by Gail Bailey
WDC 652 HDL have sculpted a snow-car, which Donald is scraping--Branca (I think the idea behind this is really funny)
DD 337 HDL playing with the kitchen utensils--Branca
