When I open the forum without logging in, I see a page without a link to the main forum:
Roger North
Yeah I have noticed that too deyanmegara. I hope they fix it soon.

That's done on purpose. I assume you have read cacou's post?
Roger North
No I haven't but thanks for the info.

It wasn't posted when I wrote this. But anyway, here it is: http://dcf.outducks.org/viewtopic.php?id=1581

Well, I've had a different problem. When I posted in something, it wouldn't let me show it...
Maybe because I was using Firefox...

Since a few weeks all the posts are marked as new, no matter if I have read them or not.
It doesn't really bother me however.

I've been experiencing the same thing. It's not that big of a deal but it is nice be able to know if there are any new posts at a glance and be taken to the oldest unread post instead of navigating to it.

I have the "new post" problem too, in addition to there being a thing on the homepage that says "no new posts" when there are actually new posts.

Yes, it happens here as well... I was starting to wonder why so many topics were in bold text. :)

By the way, I posted this from Firefox.

Same problems here. I find it annoying.
The Rhyming Man
The same with Chrome for Android.

This problem happens because I removed the table which kept track of which visitor visited which topic.
I removed this table because it was slowing down the whole server (including coa.inducks.org). The reason was the huge number of spam bots "visiting" the forum. I thought it was only used to show the number of visitors online, so I didn't try to fix the SQL queries (and make them efficient with a large number of bots), but simply removed the table and associated queries.
I think it's best to switch to another forum rather than trying to repair the current one.
