Hi everybody, I'm new here and thrilled to have found a forum with experts on Disney comics.
I'm a German art historian and I write about the work of an American conceptual artist from the 1960s who references repeatedly a particular story he read in one specific Disney comic (the American and Spanish version), I assume it would be a Mickey Mouse issue, but I'm not entirely sure.
The issue features Clarabella Cow / Clarabella vaca participating in a photography context. In the story, Clarabella photographs her then boyfriend Horace Horsecollar, who is chased by a lion. Realizing that she took the perfect picture, which will likely win the contest she says "Terrific shot!", or in Spanish "Precioso ejemplar!".
Hoping that anybody in this forum knows more than I could find out so far I thank you in advance!
All best from Boston,
Anne

A search on inducks for "Clarabelle" and "photo" gives me this. http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=S+76187 Could that be the one?

There is also "Clarabelle, Wildlife Photographer" with Clarabelle and Horace Horsecollar and a lion that chases Horace. When Clarabelle takes pictures of the scene she says "Sto scattando delle foto fantastiche!" (in the Italian version).
However it hasn't been published in English (based on current Inducks data, which may be incomplete because some UK issues have not yet been indexed), only in Spanish and some other languages.

Thanks so much to you, Greek_User and Gadgetphile. Your hints lead me to a Spanish edition in which, I believe, the Clarabelle Cow story had been translated into Spanish. And that issue is Don Miki #202. http://coa.inducks.org/issue.php?c=es/DM++202#c. I hope my purchase of the issue on a Spanish auction site went through and I will happily provide scans of the Clarabelle story from this issue for inducks.org. Thanks again! Cheers, Anne
