Well, Al Taliaferro made many comics where Donald Duck appears in The Emperor's New Clothes. Sometimes to save his own tailfeathers....

hey, i don't wanna cause a problem, but now that the "full frontal" thread is closed, we should use this one to continue. but we should make a rule on this forum that this is not sexual in any way. i myself find nudity not to be disgusting but rather, i think it's probably the most natural thing that could ever exist. the only reason people get "turned on" by nudity is because we are taught that it is indecent almost anywhere, and we in america are often taught this from a very young age. well, to that, i say, curse our puritanic moral code. we didn't combat the fetishness of people looking at nude disney ducks on the "full frontal" forum, and that's what got it closed after an amazing 6 1/2 years. this time we need to be clear. we can have a forum on this site about the nakedness of the disney ducks, but we gotta lay down the law here this time. let's do it right.

i think the fact people get turned on by nudity is because we wear clothes too much. there weren't enough topics on the nudity of the duck characters, and because of our human state, part of it is that we look at things that are hidden and treat them like objects. we become curious about "what's under the surface" in a bad way. if we had more topics like this and made it loud and clear it is asexual, people wouldn't be coming on this site so much and lusting at this art as though it's just a thing.

"Lusting"? When we see real ducks, they aren't wearing clothes and I can't imagine anyone having lustful thoughts toward a duck, so why would anyone ever lust after a cartoon duck? Who would ever look at a comic book depicting Donald in his sailor suit and then start fantisizing about what Donald would look like naked? Yeah, Donald doesn't wear pants. Tom and Jerry and Tuffy are naked. So is Felix the Cat. So are hundreds of other characters. When we were kids and started reading comics, we simply enjoyed them. We never thought, "Hey, the characters are naked." Why do you want us to discuss comic-book nudity now? You say, "Let's do it right." I ask, "Why do it at all?
GeoX might be surprised to learn that at least 12 United States colleges and universities are offering courses on comic-book studies or using comics as a tool to teach reading skills, imagery comprehension and philosophy.

My intention when I closed this topic was not to suggest that people start the same thing elsewhere with a different name.
The new account "Devilduck" was created by someone who posted messages on the "full frontal" topic exclusively. I suggest we pick another subject.
