According to Don Rosa the frozen sled in "Last Sled to Dawson" came from an old tony Strobl story. Anybody know which story this is and if it's been reprinted in the United States?

I think it was in USA Donald Duck #40 in early 1955,- "The Kitchy-Kaw Diamond". Scrooge sent Donald to near The North Pole to find the diamond. Donald finds Scrooge's sled, in the broken off portion of a glacier. It had traveled towards the seafrom where Scrooge let it fall into a crevasse, many years before.

Yes, that's the one.

I have heard about that story but I haven't read it. I heard that's where Don Rosa got the idea for Last Sled to Dawson which I have in both Uncle Scrooge Adventures #5 and Uncle Scrooge #350.

The Secret Of The Glacier was written by Carl Fallberg who also wrote a lot of very good Micke Mouse comics drawn by Murry. Fallberg must be one of the best Disney comics story tellers in the 1950-ies.
