In Gottfredson strips, Heroes celebrate Xmas in August?
In their World there's hot in February and Cold in June?
The answer is Yes, my dear mates,'cause a Gottfredson strip can take a few seconds, many minutes, many hours, a day, some days or a month...
So, it's impossible that when Gottfredson draws a strip in August, his Heroes are in August, but probably some months before...
Gottfredson and his story-writer hadn't calculate the time of a strips-story...
Example: If when Gottfredson starts a strips-story is December and when he ends is August, the Heroes cannot be in August when the story ends, 'cause actually, the story takes only a month or a few more...
So, in Strips' World, there's hot in January and cold in June and Xmas is celebrated in August... ;)
Next Time! ;)

That situation is always true for comic book artists, as well. The production, editing and print scheduling period, and "waiting in line" period for a story to get to print is six months at MINIMUM. A Christmas story may wait a year and a half to several years if the "competition" stories from other writers/artists is too tough that particular year, despite creators' story being good enough to be bought by the publisher.
