How many panels in a page?

Usually four rows (tiers) of two panels each. So, the standard page has 8 panels. But, the first page of a story has a 4-panel sized half page splash panel, or, at least, a 2-panel long panel for the logo/title. Of course, the typical Italian (pocketbook) page has 3 tiers and 6 panels, with the title page having 3 panels or all in one panel.
Is that what you meant?
