Besides Egmont, Disney Italy and the Duch editors, is there some other publisher producing standard Disney character stories regularly?
Lars Jensen
I don't think so, no.
Robb_K
The French don't produce anymore?
I assume from your question, Fernando, that Abril still has no current production. I thought their production stoppage was only a temporary situation. I hope it's not permanent.

I remember hearing a year or so ago that production of French stories had indeed been stopped. Dunno if this is still in effect, though.
Fernando Ventura
Just ocasionally (VERY ocasionally - just 2 stories since production stoped in 2000/2001).

The French almost stopped their production completely. Hachette is still producing a few Riddle pages and one gag page every week.

You're right Jenifer a lot of the stories in the Gemstone issues were new to America. I hope someday that Boom publishes some more unreleased material.
