I strongly doubt Martina and Scarpa intended a homosexual subtext to this story. But that's just me...

I have a few problems with your request for a sequel:

1. I prefer not making sequels to other people's stories.

2. If Kala-Mit was brought back, it should be in a very good and very different story. Having him run around with a potato bomb instead of a tomato bomb would in itself not be interesting enough to deserve a story. And a new story should be at least as good as the original from Martina and Scarpa. Those are high standards to strive for.

3. Egmont no longer produces Mickey stories for the pocketbooks, so any sequel would have to be made for the weekly. And Egmont most likely wouldn't want to publish a pocketbook sequel in the Micky Maus weekly. So they most likely wouldn't want to produce such a story.

4. I'm not writing Mickey Mouse stories these days, so I couldn't sell a sequel to Egmont even if I wrote one.

But maybe there's another writer out there who wants to give it a try?
