I don't know if this has already been seen by others or not, but I just noticed that the cover artwork for volume 1 of Boom's "Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" is now up at amazon. Nothing yet for volume two.

It looks a lot like the old one.

Much, much better than what they had used as a placeholder in Previews.

There are only 2 volumes at all. But I don't know what kind of story selection BOOM made.
BTW: You can look into the new Christmas book at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Walt-Disneys-Christmas-Classics-Barks/dp/1608865487/

The Christmas book looks great. Looks like a nice selection of stories. I already pre-ordered it a while ago, but now I know I don't have to cancel it. ;)
I love that they're doing the "Look Inside" on Amazon. Very cool.
The pages you can see on Amazon are of Jack Hannah's Santa Claus's Visit story. It's funny that this again is a 3-tier story.
So far I've only seen 3-tier Disney comics by Boom. I sure hope that the other 4-tier stories in this Christmas book and the Life of Scrooge books will be presented in their original format.

Jack Hannah's story was originally printed on 3-tiers in 1943. That was before they switched to 4-tiers in 1944 to save paper.

@arthur: Judging from the table of contents, the 4-tiers have remained 4-tiers. That table doesn't seem to be complete, though. The book is said to have 128 pages, so there's still space after "Bear Mountain", probably for Walt Kelly? Did he do any Christmas-related Disney comics?

Thanks for the info Charlie. Maybe the first volume will have all the originial chapters and the second one will have all the ancillary chapters.

According to Wikipedia, Life and Times will be two volumes, followed by the Companion at two volumes. So four total.
