But it is chock-ful of "comic book art". So, ...... if a poster of Donald duck characters I drew for a Jyllandsk elementary school library gets indexed in COA, surely an EHAPA book full of Disney comic book-style drawings of Disney comic book characters should be indexed. Not so?

There are lots of things that *could* be indexed, but only things containing Disney comic stories *should* be indexed. Indexing a panel from a story as an "incomplete" reprint of that story is slightly confusing, so in that case I only index the text/articles/studies/illustrations. I think my xeroxes are incomplete, so I wouldn't be able to index it...

Unfortunately, I don't have the book. It is so big, I couldn't carry it with all my baggage on the train back to Holland, so I left my copy at Jan's studio. It was later given away to someone else. In any case its pages are so big, I wouldn't know where to find a photocopy machine with a large enough screen to capture the full image. it would have had to be photoed in 2 shots per page.

I see your point about indexing the characters. The main characters are on each page. But, there are some different secondary characters on each page, if I remember correctly. The comic "story test" shouldn't apply, as covers are indexed. Covers aren't stories. Calendars are indexed. This book is a book of posters or covers or comic book style drawings with comic book style scenes which tell a story, but just lack written narrative and dialogue. I hope we can get the complete photocopies to you, so it can be indexed.
