Since Thanksgiving's coming up shortly for us in the States, I thought this would be a fun thread. It's kind of a follow-up, I guess, to that recent (and slightly controversial) "death" thread we had awhile back---only more cheerful, with a focus on turkey-eating rather than anything getting killed. I don't know if any other countries are celebrating Thanksgiving this month, though most will be celebrating Christmas or another winter holiday, so turkeys figure in that, too.
I was just thinking of a delightful story by Carl Barks, "Turkey With All the Schemings", where Donald forgets to buy a turkey for the holidays, and disguises himself as a rich businessman to try to con Scrooge out of a turkey dinner at a fancy restaurant. What happens from there is all too predictable.

We do not celebrate Thanksgiving here, but there are plenty of Dutch stories involving turkeys. (although I've never eaten a turkey myself)

For Thanksgiving, I suggest reading this!

I have the story Turkey Trouble in Donald Duck and Friends #333. I also have the story Turkey Hunt in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #579 and The Custard Gun in Donald Duck Adventures (Disney Series) #17 and the aforementioned Turkey with all the Schemings in Uncle Scrooge #284. Of Course that last story is more of a christmas story than a Thanksgiving Story. Since we're mentioning stories with Turkies in them I would like to mention that I also have Gladstone's usual very good year in Donald and Mickey #21.

Yes it was, especially the ending---it's nice to see Donald come out on top once in a while. I love what you did with your signature, btw! :)
