Thanks for the promo, Arthur! But note that those are very tentative. In particular, the covers shown for a couple of the books will actually be used on different issues later in the year.

That's right. I thought people here knew I was David Gerstein, archival editor??but I guess not!
My apologies for not clearing that up, Roger.

I can confirm "ramapith" is a Gemstone employee, I even visited his office there. I think many on this forum knew ramapith is David. Roger, he never tried to hide his identity or the fact that he is at Gemstone.

Quote from user: Roger NorthDo you really mean that or are you just being sarcastic ramapith? Because it could go either way. If you really are David Gerstein then why aren't you using your real name? Are you trying to be Anonymous or something?
David IS Ramapith, and he was also an editor at Egmont (Denmark) for many years, and still writes stories for them. We have several Disney Comics creators, staff and indexers who post on this forum regularly, or sporadically.

Oops! I presumptuously thought everyone here would already know me from other forums??where my email address is seen. No intent to conceal my identity here... hey, and I've just figured out how to use the bulletin board software to give myself a proper sig line, so there you see it now (below).

Wait...Glomgold has a nephew!! O_O With a really weird name too. Anyway it looks like these books will be great (hurray for more Scarpa! :) ) Speaking of which, are there any plans to publish that "new" Scarpa story that was re-writen a while back? (it had something to do with Scrooge's coat) Anyway thanks for the info Arthur. 8-)

Quote from user: Roger NorthI didn't know Flintheart Glomgold had a nephew? What's his name?
Slackjaw Snoremore. Apparently he has a very interesting "gift" of some sort.

Uh oh! I wrote a story with a nephew of Glomgold (not published yet), but he's not lazy as the name above would indicate. But he is sly and devious, like his crooked uncle. Maybe Glomgold will have to have TWO nephews!!!

Robb K: I'm a little confused..first you say it's Gladstone's nephew..and then you say Glomgold's. :/ I'm sure they'll let you create a new nephew though.
Roger North: I haven't heard of the Slackjaw before either. What I wrote down earlier is all I could tell from the short story summary.

Sorry,-that was a misprint. I had meant to write Glomgold. My nephew of Glomgold is like his uncle in character. He is devious and calculating and greedy enough to break the law, lie, cheat and steal, to gain more wealth. The name Slackjaw Snoremore sounds as if the character will be lazy. So, it is likely that they will have to be different nephews.

Wow! Our OWN Lars Jensen wrote that story. According to the description, his Glomgold Nephew was a lazy, worthless, good-for-nothing. I am sure, now, that Glomgold will have to have 2 different nephews (the other- greedy, calculating, underhanded, power hungry and devious).
