Country refers to the earliest known location of each user. Every registered member is counted, including those who didn't post (the gazillion of spam accounts, created and automatically removed every day, are not counted).

Interesting !
Denmark only second to the US - I know for certain, that several of the ones from EU are from Danish Uni's - and then again, Robb K. and Ramapith, when in Denmark, are still not Danish, right?
How much spam do you get pr. day?

There is easily 30/40 spams per day, luckily I installed a CAPTCHA test for registering members which the machines hopefully can not pass. So I don't even notice it myself :)
I think the EU also include Finland and Netherlands. The server is located in Denmark, and I may have created one or two accounts from that machine for testing purposes, which inflated the Danish "score".

Very interesting! Thanks for this statistics!
Can you see how many members are active, e.g. wrote something in the last 6 months?

I suppose the statistics for visitors from outer space take longer to compute.

Very good Olivier !
Perhaps visitors from outer space try to connect but don't pass the captcha test and that's what cacou calls "the gazillion of spam accounts". :)

Interesting, thanks. Obviously this belies the fact that there are undoubtedly many more Duck fans in Europe than there are in the USA.

I think it's cool that you put a panel from Micro Ducks From Outer Space on this page. I have that story printed in Uncle Scrooge Adventures #15, Walt Disney Giant #7 and Carl Barks Greatest Duck Tales Stories #1.

I reside in The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and USA each year. So, 3 countries get cheated on their count. Furthermore, if "the earliest known location" is the criterion, I was first located inside my mother's womb (and that was located inside the borders of Canada). Therefore, 4 nation states get cheated. Maybe I should have a flag made up of 5 fragments? Or combining several designs (as is the flag of Great Britain!)?

You can spare a few flags by using the EU flag, as I seem to do.

Maybe one of these should do the trick for you :-)

Thanks Asger, but a European star circle with USA stripes and the St. Andrew's cross (Scotland) isn't accurate. The European star circle, USA stripes and a Canadian Maple Leaf would work better:

Or this composite flag with smaller national flags superimposed:
