True. But this forum is conducted in English language. So, it would have an inherent bias towards nations with English as their national language (Even more so than European language fora, as Americans, British and Australians tend to learn significantly less foreign languages than Europeans). We have a few active Disney comics fora in The Netherlands, and Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Hungary, and various other European countries have their own, as well (many of which are a lot more active than this international forum). English speakers may have a lot more reason to use this forum than its being conducted in their own language. Maybe there aren't any national fora for USA, Britain, Australia, Canada,New Zealand, etc.?

The German forum has more topics but there are also more publications to be discussed: a weekly Micky Maus Magazin, two monthly comic books and a lot of special issues.

The database of IPs for each country slightly changes every month. The one I use is 1 or 2 years old. It is not 100% accurate either (it can not be, unless you have insider information about every ISP in the world).

There really is a "European Union" as "country" for certain IPs. What it means exactly, I don't know, I suppose some IPs are shared between countries.

EDIT: Now I see the country is really "Europe" and not "European Union" (see http://www.ip2geo.net/ip2location/ip_country_list.html). Any idea of a "flag" for "Europe" that would not offense Norway or Switzerland? ;)

Aren't Norway and Switzerland members of "The Council of Europe"? If so (as I suspect), then, it is a proper flag for Norway and Switzerland when that ISP is shared by their organisation. If you use a university shared ISP in Europe that is international, you may well have a European flag show up with your posts (as A.C. does). If you work for a private firm, or quasi-public firm that does business (has regional headquarters) in several European countries, you may well have a shared ISP-and The European flag will result.
