Can anyone let me know what the contents of these "Disney Hall of Fame" books are?

I can't read German; it sounds like they're collections of Gottfredson strips, but are the strips themselves in German or in English, and which strips do the books contain? I'm sure someone can let me know. Thanks a lot.

Thank you, sirredknee. I knew I'd get a quick and useful answer. While I'd like to see the Thursday story, I can't read German (as mentioned above) so I'll have to give the collection a miss.

The German Hall of Fame series also has a book (first of 2) by Jan Gulbransson, in which I am the featured writer. Spaking of German Disney artists, unfortunately, Volker Reiche didn't draw enough Disney stories to make a book. And, neither has Ulrich Schroeder, due to his slow, perfectionist working methods. The latter is a great shame, as based on Ulrich's finishing Barks' sketches on 4 panels from "King Scrooge The First", he would be my favourite artist after Barks (if he drew enough).

No, neither The German, nor The Scandinavian series of "Hall of Fame" books have been printed, or scheduled for printing in USA. If that is to happen, I assume that it will have to be Gemstone that decides to do so.

Hello Henry. Do you mean that Don Rosa has drawn new drawings especially for each of the covers of his Scandinavian Hall of Fame Books? (I assume that his Norwegian and Swedish books have the same covers as the Danish).

Gemstone is coming out with a "Don Rosa Library" here in the states, LadyQuackly. That will probably be very much like the "Hall of Fame" books, if and when it finally is complete. Here is the Amazon page: http://www.amazon.com/dp/1603600647
