There will be a Comics Fair in Haarlem, Netherlands on Saturday and Sunday June 7th and 8th. Daan Jippes, will be there, but only signing for his current non-Disney comic strip. But most of the current Dutch Disney artists will be there signing for Disney. Frank Jonker and Hans van Oudenaarde will be there for their Bob Evers series. I will be there Sunday.
I hope some DCF members in The Benelux area and also Rhineland and Westphalia will come.

Tim's name is Tim Artz. He is a talented young, upcoming artist. Henrieke Goorhuis has had a cover published by Sanoma Uitgevers (Dutch Disney Comics) in The Dutch Weekly, and has had some story work tentatively approved. Gerben Valkema is a regular artist, and Piet Voordes works with The Editorship, and was a former production artist.

I forgot to mention that Wilma van den Bosch was also signing drawings, and Michel Nadorp and a few others were there Saturday. Daan Jippes and Frank Jonker were persuaded (after some begging) to draw Disney drawings. Artist Pascal Oost, and Editors Frans Hasselaar and Thom Roep made cameo appearances, as did staff artist, Lucas Abedy.

Too bad I missed him! He retired a few years ago, and I haven't seen him since.

Good Ol' Henry, Ol' pal..... Who else did I leave out, who attended on Saturday? I know that there must have been some artists signing autographs, other than Michel Nadorp.

Sorry about de Herr Oost. I suppose he may consider himself a writer first. But all of us writers for Dutch Disney are required to be artists, too. Note that Frank Jonker was signing autographed drawings of Donald (and I've done that, too, on many an occasion).
