$2200? That's a lot of money. If Don Rosa keeps selling his drawings he might be a millionaire.

I assume the amount is two thousand two hundred US dollars??and not twenty two. Of course with the decline of the dollar that doesn't buy Americans much.

The drawings were sold for 17.500 NOK (Norwegian Kroner)! Good deal, not so much because of the drawings (which certainly are not worth that much!), but because of the advertising value you get when you´re on national TV!

Well, no drawing is worth anywhere near that much in my opinion. Whether it is Rosa's, Barks' or anyone else's for that matter.

They probably sold for that much because it was for charity. (I don't know what NGO's stands for, but I assume that is the case)

Quote from user: Daniel73A lot of elements in Rosa's [stories] conflict with elements Barks included in his stories? For example, in 'A Letter From Home' the crooks don't turn into gold when holding the Philosopher's Stone.
Quote from user: Daniel73The matter of the stone turning not only metal but even people into gold is an important story-point in Barks's story 'The Fabulous Philosopher's Stone'.
In Rosa's 'A Letter From Home' this is just ignored. As if it's forgotten. There should at least have been an explanation in the story.
I think you remember Barks' story incorrectly... the stone only turns people into gold after an extended period of time, so there's really nothing to explain here.

There may be cases of inconsistency between Barks' and Rosas stories, but this doesn't appear to be one of them.

NGO´s stand for Non Governmental Organizations, such as fx the international Red Cross, Greenpeace etc. etc.

Ahhh, thanks for the information, Barko.
mexican fan: very interesting interview. A bit rough, but lot of fun to watch nonetheless. :)
