Just logical ; Dhp is a licenser for french-speaking countries, they have no reason to publish their magazines in english.

ooooh k

didnt know tht

You can probably order that from a comic shop in Quebec that carries French Disney comics.
Arnaud
Not in a comic shop, remember : http://dcf.outducks.org/viewtopic.php?pid=21124#p21124
And she'd like it in english, it's not. (she's not in North America by the way.)

Issue n°2 is out now !

So, is it then only sold in book stores? And it has not been handled by book stores in Québec?
Arnaud
It's a magazine, not a book - please read my old answer. We already had this conversation.
And I can't figure why someone in Iceland would order a magazine in Québec, especially when it's published in France (that's taking a long path).
Of course, like most DHP publications Les Trésors de Donald is available in Québec newsstands.

Yes. Sorry, I forgot that it was the Icelander that asked for your book in English. I was, of course making that point for readers in USA and Canada.

Amutu, thanks for alerting us to the "who's who in Duckburg" booklet. Arnaud, thanks for writing it! I finally got my copy, thanks to a friend in Toronto who was able to purchase Picsou 496 for me at a local French-language newstand. Turns out that Picsou shows up there approximately *five MONTHS* after the cover date. Not at all clear to me why there's such a delay! But in any case, I finally have the booklet, and I'm enjoying it very much, Arnaud. I'm learning a lot from the short write-ups you did, and finding out about characters I didn't know about and stories to look for. I love the layout and the choice of pictures. I'm grateful that you included each character's original name; that cuts down on the number of times I have to turn to Inducks. I was amused by the comment re: Gédéon. Also amused that Teddy Roosevelt made it in, thanks to Rosa! I like the entries for the JW Guidebook and for the #1 Dime. You do a nice job of finessing the question of whether Ol' Number One is a "lucky" dime!
Random questions: If Morty and Ferdie make it into this booklet by virtue of their visits to Gyro, why didn't Madam Mim make it in? Are the French not familiar with the stories that place her hut in the forest near Duckburg? And speaking of Morty/Jojo, another character I might have expected to find was Jojo Goeland/Sonny Seagull. And with reference to Chris/Paperetta Yé-yé--do I understand correctly, that she has appeared in stories in French comics, but that the story with her first appearance has not been published in French?
Between this booklet and the impressive German Duckburg Tour Guide with its amazing Duckburg map, I now feel fully prepared to make my way around Duckburg. Now if I could only find the right portal....
