Topic: Need help identifying Duck relatives

Hi all!

Like a lot of Disney Duck fans, I really like Gilles Maurice's "grand unified" Duck family tree, and thanks to his old site (via Archive.org) and Asger Pedersen's site, I've been able to identify most of the characters on it. There's still a handful, though, where I don't know where they came from (mostly characters that were only mentioned), which I'd like some help with, if you don't mind. Some of these characters are probably mentioned on Pedersen's site, but he uses their Danish names, and I don't know which Danish name goes to which English name.

Taking it by generation, we have...

Generation 2:
* Thimothy Gearloose, Gyro's great-great-great-great granddad and apparently the earliest-known Gearloose.

Generation 3:
* Kerababor and Bovspryd McDuck: The ones I most want to know about. They're awesome-looking duck pirates and yet I can't find a thing about them on the 'net.
* Grandma's great-great aunt Abigail. She's portrayed as Asa Duck's wife; are they in the same story?
* Grandma's great-grandmother and great-great uncle Pataco.

Generation 4:
* Daisy's great-great grandfather Jason.

Generation 5:
* Scrooge's granduncles, Angus and McPaper.
* Daisy's great-grandmother. I know where her great granddad's from; is it the same story?

Generation 6:
* Scrooge's maternal uncle Angus and paternal uncle Tobias
* Scrooge's cousin Argus, here listed as Quagmire's son.
* Donald's great-uncle Tom.

Generation 7:
* Wilma, Angus (the one with the beard), Sandy, Malcolm, and Jason, cousins of Scrooge. Malcolm looks like he's from a cartoon.
* Scrooge's second-cousin Miser.
* Paperetto Pieretto, here shown as the uncle of the Caveduck from W DG 38-01; same story?
* Donald's Aunt Dia.
* Donald' Aunt Audree (and I see someone else is as perplexed about her as I).
* Daisy's aunts(?), Alvidia and Zebedea.

Generation 8:
* Daisy's cousins, Becky and Dustin.
* Gus's cousin Gorman.

Any help would be phenomenally appreciated. Thanks ahead of time!

I have never heard of those characters. I'd like a copy of the Duck Family Tree with all of Donald and Scrooge's Relatives.

Aaah, thank you so much for this! I made my thread after this ! but yeah, there are many really cool duck character and some mysteries that need to be explained. ;)

I assume that Daisy's great-great grandfather Jason is the one who owned the trading company 'Duck & McDuck' together with Scrooge's father, as mentoined in http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=W+CPGK++1-07 I don't have the story myself, but I'm pretty sure he is.
It strikes me that 'Ludwig's great-grandmother', who was listed in Gilles Maurice's Duck family tree as a character who was mentoined only, doesn't appear in the above list. I've really never heard of that character before. Was she mentoined in a comic or a cartoon?

Thanks a lot! I also found Uncle Miser, who's from a '90s Italian story. I still really want to know where Kerababor and Bovspryd (and to a lesser extent, Aunt Audree and Great-Aunt Abigail) are from, because seriously, pirate ducks.

By the way, are you the same Scroogerello at DeviantART? If so, you're awesome!

Haha, no, I didn't know my username was already in use somewhere else. I guess I'm not that awesome;-)
BTW, what's deviantart?

And now I've found Uncle Tobias (I think) and Aunt Zebedea! Keep it coming!

I've found yet another relative that was in the list: "Thimothy Gearloose, Gyro's great-great-great-great granddad and apparently the earliest-known Gearloose". In fact, I 'accidentally' stumbled upon it while searching for the Phantom Blot's ancestor from this story: http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=B+790036 . Gyro's ancestor can be seen very clearly on the scan of the first page.

Thanks! That's two Gearlooses who have been credited with the invention of the lighbulb, the other being Thimothy's descendant Alex who was explicitly ripped off by Edison (insert your own joke here).

While I was reading through the above list again, I recognized a few others. Paperetto Pieretto (in Dutch he's called 'Geerten Gans') appeared in this story: http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=I+TL++582-A . He was said to be Grandma Duck's cousin in the Dutch version. Scrooge's cousin Angus (in Dutch called 'Duffy McDuck') appeared in this story: http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=D+88149 .

Cool! Paperino/Geerten's last name in Dutch being Gans implies he's a relative of Gus, I guess. If I were to revise Maurice's tree I'd probably make him a relative to Luke Goose and thus an in-law of Grandma.
