It's a good thing I have the book. I wish they would make a movie out of The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck or at least a motion comic.

Quote from user: misterpomToo bad the ACTUAL BOOK can't be bought from less then 100$. So you can't have the full experience unless you already have it. :/
Pretty sad. But hey, you could get lucky- I've had my copy of the companion for several years, but I just got the original last year on eBay for $13 NM. :D. You just have to keep a very vigilant watch.

My copy got dispatched over the weekend by amazon so hopefully this will be coming in the postbox tomorrow! I'm kind of in love with the single, and this idea of a indie rock artist just making an album about disney comics of all things. It doesn't seem to be authorised by Disney in any shape or form however. They've clearly thought very hard about how best to present this album without getting Disney's lawyers on them, I can only imagine it's a matter of time before they find some reason to protest however...
Might have to nab one of those shirts, Rosa's album art looks amazing.

Got mine preordered too. When it arrives I'll post some details about the music.

For anyone who'd like to have a SIGNED copy of the Lo$ soundtrack album but didn't have a chance to go to the release day signing in Helsinki on Friday, fret not! As a special service to the fans, I'll be able to offer a very limited stock of albums SIGNED by Don himself. You can either get the 1-CD keepcase version or the 2-CD Digipak from our Don Rosa Classics Etsy page. Just choose your prefered version from the "Style" dropdown on the right. (They are a bit more expensive than the non-signed discs from Nuclear Blast since shipping them to the US and back to be signed is pretty expensive.) The discs are currently on their way to Don to be signed and should be ready for shipping by the mid of May I think. :)

Man, I wish mine was signed. On a positive note though, it arrived a day earlier than the American release date today. I'll post more about it once I listen and probably delete my last two useless posts.

As a pretty big fan of Nightwish and a huge fan of the life of Scrooge, there was never really any doubt that I would like this album. Having now listened to the entire thing, I can say- I love it. It's still very reminiscent of Nightwish, but casts aside the metal influences and creates a beautiful whole, partly composed of emotional lyrical songs and partly of powerful instrumentals.
I highly recommend.
