I was just about to write about it, but it seems you got me :P So yes, Don Rosa will be a guest of the Greek Club of Comic Fans.
It all began from GreekComics.gr back in 2007 when we first started trying to index every Greek comic publication ever. The next big step was the creation of a public library with ALL those comics, free for everyone to read. Until now we have gathered about 30.000 comic issues (yes, thirty thousand!!) mainly from donations, and we still continue. We pay rent to stay in an apartment in the center of Athens, and all our income comes from members and comics sales (both new and used). It's not necessary for anyone to be a member in order to read anything, but if you do, you have discounted prices on comics from the Club and also some more bookstores.
Every now and then we arrange events, singings with Greek comic artists, screenings etc, but this is the first time we will have such an important (and so loved) foreign artist over here. We are really happy and very excited about it!
Don Rosa was kind enough to accept our invitation, and we thank him very much for it. I don't know many other persons so famous as him that they would accept an invitation solely from fans. So it's our turn now to provide him and all the Greek Rosa fans with an unforgettable experience.
It's been only 24 hours since the official announcement, but the response of fans was HUGE! We still have ~3 months ahead of us, so we plan on advertising it as much as we can. It's a pity Don's last visit in Greece was 10 years ago, considering the amount of devoted fans he has got over here. It's such an important event for every Disney fan in Greece right now!

Quick update for the Don Rosa event in Athens.
Along with the arrival of Don, we will publish an edition of the Pertwillaby Papers, translated in Greek of course. Don was kind enough to provide us with his stories, so we will now present them to the Greek audience.
The people working on this are... yours truly and some other fellow fans :)
On a dew days we will announce more details about it (contents, price, pages, etc). I announce it here as well, because I know there are a few collectors that may be interested on everything Rosa-related, so, here you go! The book will be available from the Club of Comic Fans for distribution solely in Greece, but if anyone is interested in it, just let me know and we will think of something :)
