Our Dutch publishers (Sanoma Uitgevers) prints Brazilian stories every so often, as do the Italians print quite a few, and The French print some. I believe that even Egmont prints a few, as well. And we see that this one was printed in Spain.

I looked at the COA entries for Brazilian stories in the "Mickey", "El Pato Donald", "Tio Patinhas" and "Ze Carioca" Brazilian books for that period of 1976-1981. The Jose Carioca stories are printed only in Brasil. The stories in Mickey are printed in Brasil, Portugal, Spain, Colombia, and Italy. In Italy, they are printed in "Mega", which are thick pocket books containing non-italian stories (mostly Egmont and Brazilian-produced stories. I collect those, because they carry my stories. So, if I want to get this story, I'll probably go after the Italian issue. It might be slightly more difficult than the Portuguese for me to read, but the difference won't matter enough. The Duck stories in Pato Donald and Tio Patinhas (Uncle Scrooge), are often printed in Brasil, Colombia, Spain, Portugal and Italy. NONE of the Brazilian-produced stories in those Major Brazilian books was printed in any other European countries other than Spain and Portugal. I guess that the Dutch and French publishers didn't start printing them until the late 1980s or early 1990s.

France started to publish Brazilian stories in the mid-1980s. The earliest ones were produced in the late 1970s.
Very few of the stories of Renato Canini, considered one of the best Brazilian author, were ever published in France, or even in other European countries, except maybe Spain & Portugal.
