Maybe, but given the substantially lower production values of a Boom! comic compared to Gladstone's prestige titles, and given that, right now at least, Boom! is reprinting all their standard-character stuff in trade paperbacks, I think the situation might be a bit different.

I don't know, I've got books marked "used, like new" on amazon that looks like they were dropped down stairs.......

Yes, you have a point. But Amazon's customer service does good, and a refund should be no problem.

Quote from user: GeoXWhoa...for seventy-five dollars, anybody who's looking for a copy would be foolish not to snap that up RIGHT NOW.
Well, guess what guys? There's a comic shop about 45 minutes from my house that has a good selection of Disney comics. Anyway, I visited it again today and found US 310. Most of the comics there have a price sticker, but some of the more recent ones don't (by that I mean past 15 years). Because of this, they typically look these ones up in the Overstreet. Well, a different guy was working there today, and I brought US 310 up with a few others just to check the price. The guy just rang it up with the cover price.

So.... TLDR: I GOT US 310 FOR $6.95!

(And in VF/NM condition too)

And hey??if anyone is still looking for our old Walt Disney Treasures "Something Special" paperback, it's cheaper right now than it used to be.

I have that issue.

It's even cheaper on eBay.

Books are only worth what someone else is willing to pay for them...

Is there any reason why you mention US 310? is it worth more than other Gemstone Uncle Scrooge comics of the same period?

Strangely enough, yes. I believe it was printed in limited quantity or something.

Its a good issue too :P

Yes, it was printed in limited quantities in error, I believe. And yes, it's a good one. And it used to be worth a lot more on the Bay several years ago. Now, not so much. Not sure why, but I think the economy had a lot to do with it, and still does. I'll never forget the time I was selling my Scrooge collection and I sold two Near Mint collector copies for $300 each! Two people were bidding for the first copy and the losing bidder bought the second copy as a second chance offer! Now they typically go for $25-$50, if that.

The most expensive Disney comic book I bought was US 319. $65 for a near mint copy.
But I still need a few for my collection. Some issues are really hard to get.
