Klingon is a very minor language, even as artificial languages go. I have some Disney comics in Esperanto, Interlingua, and a MM strip in Volapük, but
no Klingon at all...
.. and for actual natural languages, I suppose north sami and south sami are quite small languages... and I have seen disney comic books in both these languages as well as Faeroese... .. and Disney comics in latin isn't that strange either... I have a copy of Donaldus Anas, and I actually understand quite a lot. ... and as a latin-studies aid it's of course priceless.
Esperanto I'm slightly familiar with, though I never knew they printed comics in that (and I never really understood its function anyway). I've never heard of Interlingua or Volapük, though. But I wonder if any Disney comics were ever printed in Gaelic or Welsh?

Sometimes it's common sense just to live and let live, and not waste our energy sweating
the small stuff...certainly not with more drastic matters going on in the world.

Paul McCartney's common sense would heartily agree. But I would say it all depended on who and what and where.

Quote from user: Eta BetaDoes anyone know if once a disney comic is printed in Latin? I know some Tintins and most/all Asterix comics are translated in Latin, so why no disney story?
From 1984 to 1986 the European Language Institution published six hard cover Latin Disney comic albums in Italy, featuring long Italian adventure stories. The series was named Disney Lingua Latina: http://coa.inducks.org/publication.php/x/it/DLL
I have these two:

Four of these albums were also published by Hachette in France: http://coa.inducks.org/publication.php?c=fr/DLL

I love Scrooge's name in Latin, "Scrugulus". But of course, I like "Donaldus Anas" and "Michaël Musculus" too!

I believe that the Indian Egmont-related Disney Franchise prints their books in Gujrati, as well as Hindi and English.
I believe that written Chinese is all the same, only the dialects SOUND different when spoken.
I also believe that the Spanish language South American and Mexican Disney franchises are independent from Spain's franchise, and thus, would be printed using the particular speech of their individual nation. Therefore, the grammar, word order, vocabulary might vary slightly, from country to country. But the language used would from country to country would likely vary less than the difference between British and American English.

Some languages are almost identical (e.g. French and Belgian French), but we differentiate them in Inducks because characters are usually spelled differently ("Harapagon" instead of "Picsou" etc.).

Sorry to resurrect such a dead topic, but does anyone know of a place to get these? The only website I could find just had a couple at 80 dollars, which is more than I want to shell out
