Your work has a very animated look to it. Perhaps a more modern look to the art like this and the Italian comics would draw in more new readers...if it was advertised and maybe even made available in the Disney parks and Disney Stores. With Disney buying up all sorts of outside properties like Pixar, The Muppets, Marvel Comics and Star Wars, I think that as the years go by, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck will become less and less of a priority for Disney. After all, the classic Gottfredson and Barks material is being reprinted by a smaller art comics publisher now rather than by Disney itself. (Although to be fair, Gladstone, Gemstone and BOOM Studios were all small publishers, too.)

Thank you so much. Yeah, I understand what you mean. It'll take a very brave movement from Disney to start making comics like this. My thought is that animation based comics shouldn't be treated as mainstream comics. They should show a new format that can allow them to move like they do in a storyboard.

Very nice drawings of Elmer and Bugs. The figures are quite good. Only, there is one slight problem, which draws the eye, and all the attention of the reader. Bugs' whiskers are too straight and too thick. They look like metal rods. I think that they are also a bit too long, especially in the centre panel.

Wow! Those look amazing, I especialy like the face mimics of the characters.
"Ghostbusters" one is my favorite. Looks just like screen shots taken from a cartoon. Very climatic :)

Your drawing is good quality. But, you're mixing several different styles onto one page. You would need to develop a consistent style to have your work accepted. There are clearly two Barks poses, in which you have used Barks' anatomical style for The Duck. Then, there are a few that resemble a cross between the animation Duck and The Egmont Spanish Studio style, and one of a pure Egmont style. The backgrounds look more like The Italian pocketbook style, and the background characters look like Egmont style. A real mish-mash.

Personally, I like this page. With my not being an editor, take that comment as you will. The ducks are hard to draw, and I think you did a good job. It may have a few stylistic quirks, but so did the work of Don Rosa, William Van Horn and Pat Block (the latter of whom seemed to have his art career cut short too soon, as his work improved as he went along. "Somewhere in Nowhere" is perhaps his best looking story, IMHO). Seems a shame that we won't have any new Donald Duck comics in the US anytime soon, because if they looked like your page, I'd read them.

I would read them, too. I was just giving some constructive criticism, to have Dave aware, in the back of his mind, to work on a consistent style (preferably of his own)-which occurs with almost all artists, after they've drawn a given character enough times.

I like your new page a bit better than your originals- I didn't think any were bad, but this is just more my type. All around pretty good in the more modern animation style.
