I recently read the third story from Xmas in Disneyland 1 from 1957 but I had forgotten most of the plot (since I read my Barks stories nowadays in CB Library in Color and not in comic books with other artists which sometimes give a "spin-off" effect in reading more) and tried to find if there was a fourth story also which I may have recognized better, but obviously there are "only" these three by Murry.
Fallberg also has written at least one Strobl drawn train story though, which I remember better.
I refer to Rattled Railroader from DD 58 (pencils by Strobl inked by Liggera). Are there more ?
Yes maybe, Mickey Mouse Strange Happenings ( also Strobl/Liggera) from MM 69 has at least a little bit train theme included although not so dominating as the other stories.

Here is another question from me . One of my (many) Paul Murry favorite Mickey Mouse longer stories has clear similarities to another Mickey Mouse story but the latter was drawn by Dick Moores some years before.
Which two stories do I think of, and what could explain these similarities ? The second question should have a well known answer by now :-)

The answer is the MM stories in WDC&S 155-157 The Secret of the Whirlpool by Fallberg/Moores and MM 67 The Secret of Drake's Island by Fallberg/Murry which have obvious similarities in the build up with an eager man threatening MM and Goofy whith a gun so he can reach a ship in their small boat, map hunting on the ship and a cover up story from the man to what he is looking for i. e. a treasure in both cases.

Well, anyhow it will be interesting to see how the story has been altered with new Murry drawings. The 1955 Murry art is fairly recognizable here even if it is somewhat adapted to the Gottfredsson original style. Murrys own original comic book work at that time was a bit better I think after a quick glance.
Page 2 of the published story, by Gottfredsson, actually reminds of Barks a l a Mummys Ring ! The taxi driver and rather thin lines are examples of that I think.

Murry, drawing as much as possible in the Gottfredson style, did his best drawing. I think that the same is true for Daan Jfippes and Mau Heymans drawing over Barks' sketch lines (and it gpes without saying, that that worked the same for me, as well.
