Through the excellent INDUCKS data base I could not find a perfect match to your description.
But in this Brasilian story,also published in France and Italy, they travel in time to ancient Rome to interview Julius Caesar according to :

But INDUCKS seems to lack any data on "Christian" and religion is not (for the better) a common Disney comics theme in my experience.

I vaguely remember an Italian story with one or two panels hinting about the persecution of early christians in the Roman empire. But I couldn't find it in Inducks.
I also remember a story with Romulus and Remus and Neron, not sure if it is the same though.
It would help if you tell which comics it may have been published in. There's little chance that it could be Italian if you used to read US comics.
