Hi people. First post here. I write to Planeta Gibi, a blog about Brazilian comic books, with more emphasis on Disney magazines.
If anybody wants to venture into Portuguese (or only watch our covers and contents!)...

Will your members welcome me if I write in Espagnhol Castelanho (Castilian Spanish)? Or must I just be a lurker?

You can write in English, if you want.

Epic Mickey: the Brazilian version of the graphic novel includes, for the first time in the world, all the prequels. It will launch at the end of the month.

Boom! has published only two of them: The Origin of Red Bat and The Marriage of Donald Duck (a project entirely modified and amended by Disney USA, in 1987).

Are you saying that Disney USA asked the Brazilians to change that story? (e.g. by making it a dream where it wasn't supposed to be one?)

Rodrigues, don't forget O Cinturo Do Tempo [The Belt Of Time - Uncle Scrooge #398] and A História da Paquera [A Goofy Look At Romance - Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #713], both issues from december/2010.

Yes, you're right, Matheus.
Cacou, that's right. Abril Publisher had intended to create a kind of Disneyverse, where Donald was really married to Daisy, Fethry was the major of Duckburg, Zé Carioca was richiest than Scrooge and so on.

That looks like a good idea. There was a very good Cavazzano story, I recall, where characters personalities were switched : Donald was lucky and Gladstone unlucky, Scrooge was poor, the Beagle Boys were honest etc.

I just hope that there would be some Jose Carioca Stories in The States, unless they (BOOM!) are afraid that that they may offend Hispanics....
