Topic: THE GREAT BARKS CONTEST

Hi everybody!
I suggest a game... One of us (it doesn't matter who; non I) cite a dialogue, post an image or remember a detail from a Barks story and the other try to guess from what story it does come. Whoever is right takes the control and post an image, cite a dialogue or remember a detail etcetera etcetera...
What do you think? I hope you do like this idea of mine... Bye!

"Maybe they just have big families!"

That line is from Lemming with the Locket.

Correct! An easy kick off!

Now it's your turn!

Okay Here's the line. Who Knows Fifty Years is a long time?
GeoX
It's the deathless "Back to the Klondike."
"Maybe the reason I can't get a girl friend is that I am 15 years old and 17 feet tall!"

It's obviously "Interplanetary Postman".

Do I mistake or that's the only person in Barks who declares how old is he? I remember he is the only in Barks who could be that age (and that height!).;)

In a one-pager (to be specific this one) it's Scrooge's 75th birthday.

I remember that and I wanted to bet that someone will have cited it.;)

I don't remember those stories. Maybe because I don't have them. I do recognize the line from Back to The Klondike. Here's a line that may or may not be difficult to remember. They once called me the Birdman of Wall Street.
Dutch Duckfan Down Under
It's from Four Color 386, "Only A Poor Old Man", when Scrooge is telling trained birds to get the Beagle Boys. We later see this referred in the eleventh part of the Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. Is that right?

Isn't it from "How was Green my Lettuce"?
Dutch Duckfan Down Under
Don't you mean "How Green was my Lettuce"?
Roger North
You got it wrong the first time Dutch Duckman but you got it right the second time. Sim you also got it right except that you got two of the words switched around.

First: it's Duckfan, not Duckman. Easy to remember: Barks is the Duckman, and I'm just a Duckfan. Anyway, I think because Sim knew the story (he only got the title spelled wrong), he should do the next one.
