IMHO, "The Old Castle's Secret" is obviously censored in its first edition.
At Page 20, Pic 7, "Sir Quackly got him!!!!!" doesn't fit the voice balloon, doesn't sound like Barks' tone (all those exclamation points?), and resembles Carl Buettner's lettering.
At Page 23, Pic 5, "Cemetery" is in Buettner's hand. In Pic 6, "It's the McDuck's [sic] old burial grounds!" is in Buettner's hand and contains a textual error ("McDuck's" for "McDucks'") that doesn't seem Barksian either. Seems like the editor wanted to avoid saying "graveyard," "grave," "tomb" and the like.
At Page 24, Pic 1, "marker" is in Buettner's hand. In Pic 2, "why is this" is in Buettner's hand, and in Pic 6 "marker" is in Buettner's hand. Interestingly, in Pic 5, an original Barks use of "grave" slipped past and survived.
At Page 29, Pic 2, the first three letters of "colder" are not in Barks' hand (though I can't say if it's Buettner's). Seems to me "deader" was the original word ("deader than a mackerel" is an old expression).

That's in The Heirloom Watch. Of course in the version I have the date was changed to 1988. I have the story in Uncle Scrooge #230. Here's a line Four Dollars is not much money when you have it but it's a lot when you don't.
