It did not bother me too much that Uncle Scrooge #400 had a few variants. My LCS is very accommodating in my quest to collect Uncle Scrooge comics. I personally really enjoyed the Carl Barks painting and thought it was a nice tribute to his continued legacy. Though I live in a major metropolitan area, I am one of only two other collectors who has a pull list of any Disney comic at any comic store in our city. I guess for that matter, actually any edition of Boom!'s Disney books is actually quite rare, variant or not.

Quote from user: MrClevelandQuote from user: Roger NorthI never liked Superman comics anyway. I perfered more clean style comics like Disney and Archie mainly because they rely on plot and character.
I never got into the Superman Comics either, nor Batman...though I own the DVD of The Batman's franchise of the 90's.

I, myself, like The Disney Comics, Simpsons/Futurama Comics, and Looney Tunes Comics.

And as for adventure...I get The Sonic the Hedgehog Comics (I pwn some Sonic Games....)

I used to read Sonic The Hedgehog comics but I lost interest after the 16th issue. I never lost interest in the Disney issues though.

I read some Superhero comics as a kid, but I was mostly into Disney, ALF and Ninja Turtles. I've always had a passing interest in Batman, but that mostly consists of the cartoon and movies these days.
Tried Star Wars for a while. The comics look nice, but I never felt the story got anywhere fast enough. The comics became glorified art collections.
These days it is only Disney comics. And my wallet likes it that way.

I liked ALF comics too. I also liked Archie and Harvey Comics but now it's just Disney.
