If you want to know why it's so important that "Fireman Donald" is the first story in the Dutch DD Weekly, look at the comics I got it in:
Reprinted in Fascimile 1952 (1977)
Reprinted in Facsimile 1952 (2003)
Reprinted in Beste Verhalen 1 (1975)
Reprinted in Donald Duck Collectie 1 (2000, collection of Beste Verhalens)
Reprinted in Donald Duck 1971-50 (1000th issue)
Reprinted in Donald Duck 2000-36 (2500th issue, facsimile of DD 1952-01)
Reprinted in Alle Klassieke Verhalen 3 (1987, Dutch Barks Collection)
And did I mention it's the most-reprinted (Barks) story in The Netherlands?

Just out of curiosity: Does anybody (Gerd?) know the most frequently reprinted Barks story in Germany? Could it be "Die Wette" / "Wintertime Wager"?

I have all of those except the "Alle Klassieke Verhalen" set (the whole set of which I would like to have if I had unlimited storage space).

This would be my guess, too. 12 reprints so far, not counting facsimile editions and "Sammelbände".

17 prints in total. Quite impressing.

Quote from user: cacouBTW, if you have registered your collection on COA, you can find out the stories with the highest number of copies in your collection here:
http://coa.inducks.org/collection.php?statistics=1&other=1
I don't know if it's difficult, but could you make another kind of stats? A list of all the unidentifed stories there are in comic books you own. Now there's only a list of not unindexed issues you own, but the unidentifed stories are nowhere to be found except in the index of the comic itself. With an unidentifed story, I mean the YD-coded story of this issue.
Thanks in advance.
