Why was Cornelius Coot running across Spaniards? Calisota was likely to be between the northern border of California and the southern border of Oregon. The Spaniards didn't settle north of Bodega Bay, and The Russians DID. I think Cornelius Coot was more likely to meet Russian fur traders (hunting otters), and, possibly British, than Spaniards. I don't "agree" with Rosa's "history of Duckburg". I believe Barks is the only "evidence". All other writers and artists (including myself) only reflect "conjecture".

Do you remember Ganderville?
According to me that city was founded by a Gladstone's great-grandfather, Wilfredson Gander.
I had invented that city in 2009, I think and I've introduced it in this Topic on 24th December 2009, in the first post.
Well, now Ganderville is a recognized city by Disney, it was used in 2010 by american author Patrick McGreal, in his The Ganderville Ghost, a probably parody of The Canterville Ghost. ;)

Gooseville is a town near Duckburg introduced by Carl Barks in 1951. ;)

Well, if Barks reported of two different cities Gooseville and Goosetown, then there simply are two different cities Gooseville and Goosetown. Like Kirchrath and Herzogenrath. Or like Kerkrade and 's-Hertogenrade. ;)
