All 30 units of DW #1 sold out at my LCS save for one lone B cover that was there the following Wednesday. That is not bad considering the owner there states he only orders Donald and Scrooge for me......

Yeah it sold out of our biggest comic book store, too, and even two smaller ones it's almost sold out from those, as well.
If only Disney would notice this and say 'hey, maybe we should release the rest of the DVD's we need to'

Well, I'm still waiting for Ducktales Volume 4 and Talespin Volume 3 as well..... I figured by this point, we're all screwed when it comes to Disney cartoon series DVD's - I expect in a few years? they are just going to release them all in box sets and we're going to be stuck with our current single volumes......nothing to disprove or prove this currently, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did it...Ah, big business.....But in the meantime, hail DW!

I loved it. I wasn't even a huge fan of the show, but this comic hit all the right notes. I think this and the Muppet Show book are the best things I've seen from Boom Kids so far.

Really, really loving the artwork on issue 2. That 'cover A' is great looking!

Finally went to pick up my copy (have to drive about an hour each way for the closest comic shop). I have to agree that this is about the best that Boom! has released. You can tell the dedication that was taken in producing this book. I love the story and art, can't wait for the next issue. Makes me want to go back and read the original four issue mini-series.
Like Kneon stated, maybe Boom! will see all the praise for DW and start to produce some new stories for their other titles also. This has such a different (better) feel to it than the Wizards of Mickey, Ultraheroes, and Double Duck sagas.
I too, would like to complete Darkwing and Ducktales on DVD. Maybe all Disney needs is some interest shown in the Disney Afternoon shows.

Maybe BOOM! Comics has some life with DW Duck.
If not...there's always Marvel!

DW #3 looks great... now if Ian Brill can just straighten out some of the continuity matters that cropped up in #2...

I wasn't a huge fan of the tv series, but I've really liked the first two issues. Ian Brill is smart.
I think it's been a (relative) success because of the superhero appeal & superhero format.

Don't remember Magica being in the darkwing tv show, but honestly, I'm looking forward to it. And yes, nice cover art; DW is the best material BOOM! has put out, in my humble opinion (I wish I could say that it was a close race)
