Good times for Disney Afternoon fans! Hopefully this generates more attention for Uncle Scrooge comics in general.

Such a very amazing link!
Thank you for the post.

Here's a look at Boom's books coming out this week, including the first in their DuckTales run of U$: http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/1006/05/boomfirsts.htm
Cool to see Donald in the mix too!

Looks like BOOM is using http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=D+89255 and http://coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=KZ+0890 in this first issue.
Oh, how I would love to see a regular DuckTales ongoing...

Chris Barat reviews Uncle $crooge #392:

Kinda bummed by the review... I was really looking forward to these. Pretty surprised by the continuity gaffes (even casual DT watchers know that Launchpad was introduced after Donald left the boys with Scrooge and joined the Navy!)

Ah well... the covers are pretty.

Here's hoping Darkwing Duck fares better.

Ducktales should not be a "phase" of the traditional Uncle Scrooge comic, in my opinion. But the flagship line has gone down the toilet, anyway, so I guess it matters little.

I dunno. A lot of these continuity complaints seem pretty darned nitpicky to me. Ducklore constantly contradicts itself in ways small and large, and I'm sort of surprised that people think it's such a big deal in this particular instance. I'm not a huge Ducktales fan, admittedly, but these objections strike me as sort of...uptight. Granted, there's no reason they SHOULDN'T have been more consistent--and I expect that those errors that can easily be fixed will be when the series is collected in trade paperback form--but...eh. I can really only shrug.

I just got the new issue and it is.........bland at most. A big yawn for me. A 20 minute read that felt more like habitual dedication than enjoyment......Uncle Scrooge has always been my favorite character, but I have just been reading other stuff lately. Hopefully, this line can be revamped or reignited or something. The completist in me will still pick it up, but lately, it has been very sour and full of stories that go nowhere and end abruptly....granted the page and cover quality has gone up, but the material is stretched.......ah well.
