Quote from user: scaredyettwhat about steamboat willie? you said you have them on a disc, would you mind sharing them with us?
Yes, no problem. There are about 360 strips in low resolution. That is about 6 MB. All of them (C) 1998 and 1999.

Quote from user: Steamboat WillieAnd this is about the MM comic strip, but when did the DD comic strip end? The INDUCKS are a bit fuzzy about that too.
My brother cut out about 10 of the Donald strips from a Richmond, VA paper for me. The copyright date on the strips are 2000. Not sure how much longer they lasted.
I would be interested in seeing the Mickey strips also.

Some of these strips are actually just reprints. In Inducks, only original strips will be listed as "story items".

Another way to get some of the 90s Disney comic strips like Mickey & Donald would be using newspaperarchive.com - it is a bit time consuming though. I was able to get some of the banned Mickey sequences from the 30s on that site.

Oh, you didn't get them? Then I'll try again. Be sure to check your SPAM-filter if you got one.

Thanks steamboat!
two of the storylines were in my paper when they aired back in the early 90's so i guess they ended up repeating the stories, kind of like what gocomics is doing with the ninja turtle strip.
wherever you got these from printed a lot of gag comics, usually my paper would do a story then a week of gags then a story again! these are so awesome! i cant wait to dig out mine and share them with everyone!

I cannot get any answers from KFS so I asked Bulls, (actually I asked a friend of mine to ask Bulls - since he's got better contacts.), the scandinavian distributor of Disney Comic Strips.
The answer I got are a bit discomforting. They could'nt say when they stopped receiving newly produced comic strips, i.e. "when the actual production of new strips ceased". It came gradually because they got older strips that was modernized and recoloured (sic!) and at the same time newly produced italian material was mixed in... So from their point of view - new strips were produced up until at least last year, but not every day... So if one could get hold of distribution sheets for a few years (how? sounds impossible!) you'd still have to go through them strip by strip and compare and analyze them... :-(
But at least we now know that AT LEAST IN EUROPE, new daily strips were published up until at least 2007, and that was propably true for KFS too.
