I should have reread that post a few times.

Specifically, this elimination of a class of service
will affect the costs for anyone either sending items
from the US to overseas addresses or anyone ordering
from overseas. While this may have an impact for a
number of list members, it is by *no* means quite the
doom-and-gloom item that the current state of Gemstone
is for anyone collecting the US Disney comics. Let's
face it: no comics at all and the question of postage
rates becomes irrelevant. With comics, it is an
annoyance to the impacted group of collectors.
(Granted that the size of the annoyance depends on
your ability to pay.) Just want to put things in a
more level-headed perspective, as a dear friend
pointed out to me.

Well, it's the cover of the issue with "A Letter From Home". It's a generic
treasure found in the castle... it can be the Templars' one.
I would have liked to see Rota's interpretation of Matilde, but that's his
choice...

Danish editors have been originators of this albumseries, for sure and
surely they knew who made these stories. I wonder who was the editor behind
this series? Who decided to collect Barks' 10-pagers into albums?

Finnish Aku Ankka had back page advertisements where Barks was mentioned as
"one of the most skilled comics artist of Disney". I guess that was the
first time Barks' name was printed in pages of Aku Ankka.
