Censorship in nordic printing of The Swamp of No Return?

Hello all!
The first Finnish printing (1967) of Barks' story The Swamp of No Return had Brutopian crest with shackle and sledgehammer wiped out (censored perhaps - since it is so close to Soviet Union's sickle and hammer), so I wonder if this was done by Danish editors already. Is this the case with other nordic printings of this story too? Norwegian Donald Duck & Co 1966-15, Swedish Kalle Anka & C:o 1966-14, Danish Anders And & Co. 1966-15? Page 2 panel 6 of the story.

Yes and no. I don't have access to the US version at the moment, but in the Swedish issue, the ink lines are removed while the *color* of the crest is left unaltered (white tools in a red circle).

Hi, Kaya:
The earliest comic artistI am aware of (which does not mean there are
previous artists) was Floyd Norman who worked in both the story and
animation division of the Disney Studios since the mid-1950s. He worked on
both shorts and features, and when another Floyd (Gottfredson,
natch) retired, Floyd Norman picked up the reins on the Mickey Mouse comic
strip for King Features Syndicate for quite a while. I haven't seen any of
these, but I understand they were something of a return to the longer,
serialized early adventures, to break away from the gag-a-day format. Hmmm,
maybe Gemstone can unearth some for us one of these days for a special or
WDC&S? I'd love to see 'em!
I understand Floyd Norman still does some story consulting, most recently
for the new hand-drawn "Princess and the Frog" at WDAS, and has worked for
both the Disney Animation Studio and PIXAR (I know for sure he worked
extensively on Toy Story 2 and Monsters, Inc.) Floyd is also around the
Internet and has a blog which offers a lot of great insights and info:
