That's sorta why I was hinting in that other thread that that, combined with never even showing reruns on TV even anymore it's almost like they're trying to erase that whole great era :(
But with as money hungry as they are you'd think they'd put out even just a minimal box set of all of 'em (meaning DT, Tale Spin, Darkwing, etc...)

I too prefer Fenton as himself than as Gizmoduck. As a matter of fact, I some times even forget, that he has a secret identity. But there's one good thing about Gizmoduck: He gives Fenton a boost of self-esteem, that he really needs. And of course, he does great things as Gizmoduck (even if he does great things as himself too).

I will try to work on my fanfic for a while now. I'm trying to write a "real" novel, but I've gotten some kind of writer's block at the moment, so I can just as well finish my fanfic now, because I have unfortunately neglected it for a while.

It's nice to hea of someone else that likes him, uusally when he comes up it's always Gizmoduck instead of him like he doesn't matter at all (not on here though, other places)

Well, it seems like Gizmoduck was created first, and then, they needed a character, who was "the man behind the mask". I'm very pleased with what they came up with though. But yeah, it seems like Fenton is very underrated. Just see how many internet sites describe him as "stupid" or "an idiot".
