Hello all!
I'm trying to find this story. It is Italian story from Topolino, I guess. Scrooge and Rockerduck are having competition as comic book publishers. Scrooge's artists and writers are working in sweat shop in basement. This is all I can remember. Published at least in Finland, so it might been published in other nordic countries as well. Any pointers or hints will be helpful. Thanks!
Best Wishes
Timo

I never heard of the story myself. It would be interesting to read though.

It's hard to say which thisa could be.. but perhaps it's one of these:
"Maailman paras sarjakuvalehti": http://coa.inducks.org/s.php?c=I+TL+1308-B
"Kylmät kuvasarjat": http://coa.inducks.org/s.php?c=D+97214

Yes, that's it! Thanks, Bror! :-) I can't understand how I couldn't find it from Inducks, even as I used search words as "fumetto", "sarjakuva" etc.

You can broaden your search by typing sarjakuva* or *sarjakuva*. The asterisk is a wildcard operator that lets you search for partial matches.

Well, here's couple of pages from the story. Rockerduck has a so called sweat shop:
-Scrooge don't know that I have employed all comics artists in town.
-That sucker thinks they are all having a trip outside duckburg.
-Let's see how work is going.
-I have to pep up my artists once in a while! (sign: to the studio)
-Rockerduck's comic shop is leader of the market!
-No loitering! Ideas! Ideas! You lazybones!
-There you are (artist's name here is translated as famous Finnish artist Tarmo Koivisto) scribbling! Remember that I need 200 pages in hour!
-I'll try!

Great story. Just found it in one of my own pocket books.
D97258 is also about comic artists in an art studio (sort of an internal GTr / Vicar joke).
Do you know of other meta-stories about comic artists?

That does sound like something Rockerduck would do. He would try any underhanded scheme to upstage Scrooge. He's kind of like Flintheart Glomgold but with a more prosperous background.

There are some Brasilian stories (by Abril prod. company), where Donald and Fethry are creating comics strips for Scrooge's newspaper. I believe they have never been reprinted outside Brasil.
Well, this one has Italian reprint:

I somehow misrecalled events in this story. I really remebered that the sweat shop was Scrooge's. Well, he answers to the competition creating comics based in his own life in Klondike. Exaggerated, colorful stories, where Rockerduck is villain. Donald is creating art work (very oddly simultaneusly while Scrooge dictates).

Some of the stories where Fethry draw comics for US's newspaper are very good. Actually, some where published in Italy and France, like

Carl Barks had Scrooge owning a whaling line in the 70s. :)
Of course the whole reason was for an environmental message (he often cast Scrooge as the villain who gets his eyes opened by HDL in those Woodchuck stories).
In this age, it's hard to imagine any writer taking Scrooge in that direction though, yes I agree.

Scrooge will be shown as a villain in an upcoming story, similar to how he was portrayed in the 1970s Woodchuck stories.

I know that Scrooge was potrayed as a villain in some of the older stories but I can't imagine him being a villain in the modern stories.
